ABOUT THE SCENERY:

I wanted to do Millville for FS2002, but I also wanted to keep Millville as it is in real life. An uncontrolled facility using Unicom communication. It wasn't until FS2004 that that was allowed and you could create flight plans for uncontrolled airports. It's ironic that the first defense airport in America is located in one of the original 13 colonies (New Jersey). With such a long history, I was surprised that there was little information on Millville. I knew of the two FBOs and the museum, but there was no detailed diagram to show where the buildings were located in relation to the taxiways and runways. Therefore the placement of the buildings are not accurate. However, just for fun, see if you can find the Millville Jet Center, Big Sky Aviation and the Army Air Field Museum. Happy flying!

Non-default aircraft:

I used two non-default aircraft in the flight plans. You can download them from Flightsom.com or substitute them with your choice of aircraft.

AC#121--Piper Arrow III------------------------------------------ddpa283a.zip
AC#128--Cessna Citation X----------------------------------------ctnx04.zip

Remember, your AC#'s may be different from mine.

INSTALLATION:

Hopfully, you are reading this readme file after your initial unzipping of the download.
You will need ASDv2.1 textures, Nova textures, Nova Gold textures and Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools v2.01. All of the above are on SurClaro. Download and install them before installing this scenery.

1. Unzip the file KMIV_scn to the drive where your FS2004 is loacated. If you use the "use folder" switch, the scenery files should unzip into a folder structure as follows:
fs2k4_scenery/
/KMIV/
/scenery/
/*.bgl The * represents the name of the bgl files.

2. Cut and paste the contents of KMIVFLTPLN.txt into the Flight Plans text of Traffic Tools.

3. Enter the two non-default aircraft information into the Aircrafts text of Traffic Tools.
The information must be exact, following the format of the text or you will have problems. Here's an example of how the data should be entered:

Aircraft number in sequence,Speed,Title(From the aircraft.cfg file in that aircraft folder)
AC#60,250,"Piper Saratoga - Blue"
The AC# is the next number in sequence on your list. My numbers are 121 and 128. Yours may be different.
The title must be in quotes
Each column is separated by a comma.

5. Run the Traffic Tools compiler.

6. Start FS2004. At the startup menu, select SETTINGS on the lower left. Next, select SCENERY LIBRARY. Now select ADD AREA. Find the fs2k4_scenery folder in the dialog window.
Next find the KMIV folder and select it. then click OK, then OK again. Now close FS2004.(This is new for FS2004 scenery installations). Finally, re-start FS2004. This time at the startup menu, select SELECT A FLIGHT. If you don't already have a flight saved for Millville, go to any flight and then open the WORLD menu and go to GO TO AIRPORT.
Select United States, New Jersey, and scroll down to Millville Airport, then select your parking area and click OK.

If you have any problems or questions, you can e-mail me at the email address below. I will try to answer you as soon as possible. Happy flying!!!
